About the Project

Patagonia Photography Expedition is a project that intends to travel to the main places of destination between cities of Ushuaia in Argentina and Santiago de Chile, with the purpose of registering, as much in photography as in video, the most beautiful landscapes of Patagonia.

The project was born after the first visit of photographer Roberto Herrera to the region (result of pictures above), and since then, due to the profound impact that the landscapes of Los Glaciares National Park have had on him, was born the dream of being able to cross the region, starting from the extreme south, towards the Chilean capital.

The trip will be reported on the author's blog,  alteroculos.wordpress.com , with the pictures and texts; and in video, on his youtube channel.

For this project become reality, it is necessary to raise approximately $ 8000 dollars - to finance the expedition that will last around eight months. Any contribution is welcome.

For amounts over $50, you will receive a photograph on fine art paper. It will be shiped to anywhere in the world.
